◾ Where is Body by Chai Located?
Body by Chai is located at #7, 718 17th Avenue SW in the heart of the Beltline. We are on the 2nd Floor of the College Lane Plaza shopping centre across the street from Western Canada High School, Sandwiched between Reid’s and Rumble Boxing Studio. Also, we have parking!
◾ Why am I paying a $25 deposit for an appointment?
We’ve experienced many no-shows and last minute cancellations in the past. This also means other clients might have missed out on these appointment times. When you are visiting us for the first time, this $25 deposit holds your spot, but also goes towards your purchase!
◾ Do I Need an Appointment for a Bra Fitting? Why is it necessary?
Yes, an appointment is necessary for a bra fitting. We like to book you in for a private fitting so Chai can give you the education and attention you deserve, that way there are no interruptions or unwanted visitors. Plus, the shop is all yours! Please use our appointment page HERE to book your spot.
◾ Why is the door locked?
Our door remains locked at all times to maintain the privacy and security of our clients who are getting fitted inside our store. If you arrive for your appointment and the door is locked, please call (403) 243-7138 to check in.
◾ Can I Shop Online?
Currently, Body by Chai runs only as a Brick & Mortar store. Please book an appointment to shop current collections.
◾ What is Your Return Policy?
Our returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. Most items can be exchanged or returned for a store credit within 14 days of purchase if it is in like-new condition, with tags.
Since we are an intimate apparel shop, please be fair when returning an item. We understand if your new bra size takes a bit of getting used to. Keep your tags on and wear the bra around your house to see if you like it. If you still don’t love it, come in and we will chat. Look at your items and think, could this item be sold again? If your first instinct isn’t yes, chances are, it can’t be returned.
The following items are a final sale and cannot be returned:
- All panties
- Accessories
- All lingerie with a gusset (crotch)
- Hosiery
- Sale items
◾ How Do I Wash My New Lingerie?
We recommend hand washing your lingerie in your sink or basin with our Soak Wash. If you want to wash your lingerie in a washing machine, ensure that your machine does not have an agitator, and your lingerie is placed in a mesh bag. Wash on a gentle cycle and lay flat to dry. But please, no dryer!
